2011 FRYS.com Open

After a thrilling six-hole sudden death playoff, Arkansan and Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket Bryce Molder captured his first PGA Tour victory at the 2011 Frys.Com Open. Molder outlasted Briny Baird as the sun was setting over Northern California. CordeValle played host for the second time, attracting some of the tour's best players including Tiger Woods, Ernie Els, Paul Casey, Angel Carbrera, and David Duval. Many of the future stars of the Tour competed including Patrick Cantlay, Spencer Levin, and Bud Cauley. Giving back to the local community

The Frys.com Open annually makes a significant impact in the community through its charitable donations. In addition to its primary charity, the American Institute of Mathematics, other charities such as the American Cancer Society, the First Tee of San Jose, the CordeValle Youth Foundation, and the Special Olympics (to name a few!) will benefit from the PGA Tour event.
